**First, don’t forget to thank a Veteran today. Yay, Veteran’s Day and I’m NOT working at a parade. **
Yes, I meant to say that, Owww, and Owls. Last week I had a tooth break, it was beyond repair and pulled this past Tuesday. Sniff…it hurts more now than last week, whimper, even my ear is hurting. Deep breathe, but back to the ornaments.
So last week the kids wanted to make Great Horned Owls, really they watch too much Wild Kratts. I brainstormed about it for a while, pulled out some beans, popcorn, acorn hats-you know what I’m talking about, pumpkin seeds, and anise stars.
We cut up a cardboard box, pulled out the Elmer’s and got busy! Like I said, I’m keeping it short. I hope these pictures can help you find inspiration to create other woodland creatures!
And before I go – Yes, these were heavy but I was able to hot glue a tie onto the back so we can hang it later. Also, I was worried about the glue drying and completely holding everything on! We actually finished these Monday and well, everything is still intact!
