Like every living creature on this earth, I like shiny and shimmery things. Face it, it's in our DNA and thankfully as a crafter I can unabashedly indulge in a bit of glitter from time to time. The problem is glitter is super messy and it lingers around long after the project's been finished. Thankfully, someone has heard our complaints and come up with a solution, Core’dinations Glitter Prints.
Core’dinations Glitter Prints is uniquely smooth glitter paper you can easily use in any inkjet printer, whether at home or the office. Sincerely, it leaves no shiny leftovers in or on your machine! No matter how roughly you run your hand over the paper it will not flake! Trust me, I tried. Since the glitter doesn't flake off not only is it less messy, the color stays vibrant.
While the crafting possibilities are endless, I chose to create a couple holiday printables to frame and decorate with this holiday season.

To get started I printed out my quotes and a family photo. I should note, I didn't use the photo but I was anxious to see how it'd look on the glitter prints paper. My printer started to run out of ink, hence the lines on my niece's face, but otherwise it is SO pretty!
I resized in the print screen to fit my frames, but still had to do a little cropping on both my printables and the inside of my photo mat-it was not 8x10 enough for me. If you find yourself it the same predicament just remember to measure how much you need to trim, divide by two, and take from both sides/ends.
Next up I covered my photo mat with the crepe paper. Here's another tip, cut slits for inside corners and notch the outside corners.
To add a little extra I hot glued a couple glittered ornaments onto the photo mat and frame.
The glitter sheets add a festive shimmer and no glitter mess!
Core’dinations Glitter Prints are now available at Hobby Lobby and Michaels (under Michaels private label) and coming to Jo-Ann Fabric and Crafts Stores and A.C. Moore in early 2016!
