I'm one of those who says "Halloween in stores already!?" I'm also one of those who say, "Sorry, this is the only candy the stores had left," as I had out butterscotch discs to trick-or-treaters.
If you can relate, prep for this year's little ghosts and witches by throwing together treat bags NOW! And be sure to close up with stamped Halloween Treat Bag Tags.
P.S. If the candy is in the treat bags it's less likely to be eaten before Halloween too!
To make the bag tags I used a sheet of vellum, black construction paper, PSA Essentials Stamper, Halloween colored ink pads, the Halloween Peel & Stick Stamp Dies, and a circular stamp punch (not shown).
When you're stamping on the vellum be mindful of smearing and give the ink a little time to dry before touching it.
Once you're got the number of stamps you'll need use the paper punch to punch them out, as well as the black construction paper. You'll use it as a backing.
Hole punch the vellum and construction paper.
Slip the tags on to a twist tie and close up your bag of Halloween treats.
Have the camera ready to snap a picture when you tell the kids they can go ahead and take a bag!
