Spice Up Dinner and Make Mealtime Interesting

Disclosure: I received a complimentary box for review purposes. All opinions are my own, and no compensation was received.  This post includes affiliate links.

I love subscription boxes because they introduce me to products I’d otherwise not know about OR be too afraid to buy without trying. They do have a drawback, and that’s the cost. Some of them can be a real investment, but there is one that costs a mere $8 a month, and the entire family gets to enjoy it. Any guesses?

Spice Up Dinner

If you said RawSpiceBar.com, you’d be correct. Have you heard of them yet? They are, hands down, the easiest way to turn up the volume on your mealtime flavor!

As you may have guessed from the name, they are a monthly subscription service specializing in spices. Their kits contain three freshly made spice blends created with ingredients characteristic of a new part of the world.

They source their ingredients, toast and grind them, and then combine them to create a taste that shines a light on a culinary region of the world. I love this quote from their site, “Bringing these flavor blends into your kitchen can lend authenticity to global recipes and provide creative inspiration for everyday cooking.”

The kit I was sent showcased flavors from Anguilla, and I was told by my husband to write that the chicken was, “super good.” His words not mine, but it was super good. True story, it smelled exquisite, and I forgot to take a picture before we all chowed down. Three pieces were left on my son's plate, so they were the chosen ones.

When you visit their site, you’ll want to take the flavor quiz to get personalized recipes and spice kits that’ll fit your family’s tastes and diet type. I can be a bit adventurous in the kitchen and loved mixing my culinary knowledge with the recipe suggestions to create a meal exactly to my family’s liking. But don’t worry, if you’re one that sticks to the rules or recipe, RawSpiceBar.com provides the excitement while you gather the easier to find ingredients!
