HipFits: A Must Have Fashion Accessory

Disclosure: I received product in exchange for this review. The opinions expressed are my own.

Breast Cancer is a disease we all have in common. Whether we know someone who has been effected directly, or indirectly, it has touched many, many lives in this country. With so much about women's health in the news today it is important to show our support for the organizations who are trying to make a change. This month HipFits is doing just that. For every Sweetheart, Cotton Candy, or Taffy dress sold, they will be donating $3 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In addition, one dollar will be donated for every non Pink Collection dress.

As part of the HipFits Shop Pink campaign I received the Sweetheart Dress (shown above) and I was sincerely surprised. My first impression was, "These things are heavy!" Though soft and squishy, they're substantial and don't feel like they'll fall apart if my toddler gets ahold of them. They come in an array of cute, appropriate designs you can use to express your personality - ATTENTION CRAFTERS - there's even a Krafty Dress.

If you have any fashionistas in the house, they're apparently becoming a fashionable (read trendy) accessory and though I usually have a no-trend policy, charms are undeniably fun. I can tell you even the clip on a HipFits is a step up from the cheap plastic charm necklaces I wore when I was younger!

In case you're suspicious, I know I was, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation is one of the good guys. 90% of the funds they raise go to, wait for it...breast cancer research. Amazing right? It's hard not to be sarcastic when I think of the number of organizations out there that say they give but really don't. Rest assured, here's is just one article I read that made me WANT to share this Shop Pink campaign with you. I also went to the actual BCRF's site and read more about them. They are the nation's highest rated breast cancer nonprofit dedicated to exclusively raising funds for breast cancer research.

So, if you're wanting to make a Shop Pink purchase this October I would recommend purchasing a few HipFits, shipping is free if you buy over three and it's not like you can only pick one anyway!
