This gig has its perks and having the opportunity to review books is one of them. Though I received this book for review, you should know by now that the views expressed are completely my own.
Ashley Fox Whipple is the author of Cute as a Fox and a few weeks ago she released her first cookbook, Super Cute Crispy Treats. With nearly 100 no-bake desserts featuring crispy rice cereal you know this book is perfect for families, teachers, and anyone else who loves crispy treats. By introducing a new flavor element, molding it into fun shapes, or presenting an entirely alternative way to use crispy rice cereal, Whipple proves she's a whiz at transforming this simple treat into a full on dessert.
When I first flipped through this book, I knew I'd be passing it along to my sister. With a picky eater in the house who doesn't care for sweets, crispy treats have become one of her go-to desserts because she knows they will satisfy everyone.
Today I'm sharing a picture (yep, just a picture - you'll have to get the book for the full recipe!) of the Cinnamon Roll Treats. They are so good guys! Have you ever made something for a potluck and purposely NOT taken the lid off the container so that you'd have plenty of leftovers to take home? Yeah, they're that good - and I even skipped the glaze!
I sat the pan on the floor by a window to try to get good lighting and Des made a beeline for them!
