After what feels like months of rain and now insufferable heat our coffee filter wreath had started to wilt. For days I ignored it but a few afternoons ago I absolutely couldn't ignore it anymore. Using PSA Essentials Stamps I was able to give our front door a refresh and it only took a couple hours to put it all together.
NOTE: It probably would have taken less time if I hadn't had to stop to change a diaper, instruct a 10 y/o on how to accordion fold How does he NOT know how to do this?!, and take a phone call.
Supplies
- scrapbooking paper-make sure it's sturdy enough to stand up to summer's humidity
- paper punches
- PSA Essentials Stamper
- PSA Peel & Stick Stamps-Life's A Beach and Rosette stamp die sets
- hot glue gun
- base wreath
Start out by cutting your paper into strips. I cut mine into 4" and 3" strips.
Accordion fold your paper strips, bend the folded strip in half, glue together, and repeat. The 4" strips make perfect medallions but the 3" ones might look a little oblong - to remedy that cut them in half before accordion folding so that you end up with two 3" x 6" pieces.
Use your paper punches to create the centers for your medallions; I chose solid paper to provide a contrast and make it easy to see the stamps. Once you have your paper all punches go ahead and start stamping!
Once done, glue the paper punches to the center of your medallions.
Have fun laying out your medallions in different patterns on your base wreath. You can leave some without centers and there's nothing that says you can't stack them up either!
Once you've got it how you want it, glue the pieces down and hang it on your door!

This is adorable and I love it! The colors are so pretty--great combinations. Thanks for sharing how to make our own. :)
