#MagicBBCream - Beauty In a Tube

#MagicBBCream @SheSpeaksUp @LOrealParisUSA.In addition to losing weight (again) one of my resolutions for this year was to get my girly back. I don’t know how many times I’ve walked past a mirror and thought to myself, “Keep on walking.” I’d promised myself I wouldn’t fall into this stay-at-home rut of wearing the same clothes for an undiscloseable amount of days, throwing my hair into clips and ponytails, and letting my make up collect dust. But…here I am.

I hate to admit it but Mama June is right, there’s something to be said about putting a fresh coat of paint on the barn.  It does make a girl feel pretty and damn it that’s a nice way to feel!

So, I jumped at the chance to review the new L'Oréal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream.

Here’s the official rundown of what BB Cream is: “This product gives the sheer coverage needed to create a natural bare skin finish, while delivering built-in skincare benefits. With four beautifying actions, this all-in-one innovation primes and smoothes, perfects to hide flaws, hydrates all-day, and corrects and evens skin. The product is infused with skincare ingredients like Panthenol, Vitamin E and Glycerin for 24-hour moisturization.”

Here’s my translation: Magical Beauty in a Tube. I’m not kidding. The self-adjusting beads instantly blend to your skin tone, giving you light, even, correcting coverage. Here are my before and after pics, don’t make fun.

I know what you’re thinking, what makes this any different than any other foundation? For me that answer is weight. I am getting older and if a foundation is too heavy it accentuates the wrinkles, I mean I’m not looking for a miracle cream, I just want something to even it all out and that’s exactly what the L'Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream does.

And quite frankly I touch my face a lot, I don’t like to worry about wiping away make-up every time. This is also moisturizing. I have dry skin and have to be careful with make-ups making me flaky…no flakes here.

L'Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream retails for $10.95 for 1 fl oz. and it’s  available in four shades, I used “Light.” You should be able to find it in your local big box retailers and drug stores. Definitely worth it!

Disclosure: I received a free sample through She Speaks in exchange for this review but the views expressed are my own.

Pretty much every makeup product I have is old, I don't use it often at all. Know I need to throw away all the old stuff for health of my skin. I have very sensitive skin on dry side and am very hesitant to buy something in case it irritates me old (72 yrs. old with sun damage) skin. I've seen the BB makeup advertised but thought it might be just for younger skin. I read articles about all the different types of makeup needed to look good, uh not with my budget. Not in my patience level either. I'm not a makeup kind of person mostly but do like to put something on when we go somewhere so my skin can look better.
Maybe I'll give this stuff a try, glad to see your post, gives me some courage to try it. Saw a definite difference in your skin.

Nice! It evened your skin tone and gave you just enough color! You don't need to do anything else except add some mascara and you're good to go! I tried a different brand but thought it ran a little on the greasy side . . . thanks for testing so I don't have to!

I've been wondering about this stuff. Usually , if it's not easy and light, I'm not interested. My poor skin needs something though. I looked in the mirror this year and want "AAHHHHH"
