So, remember back in September when I attended BlogHer Handmade and The Creative Connection?  If you do you should also remember that I took part in a magazine article pitch slam.  I met a number of really great ladies through the process both in the publishers and my fellow pitchers.

The panel we pitched to included MaryJane Butters of MaryJanes Farm magazine.  After the pitch a roundtable discussion was had and MaryJane commented that she’d love to feature all of us in her magazine.  Can you guess where this is heading?  Yup, little ole me featured in the 2012 April/May edition of MaryJanesFarm; the “Every Woman Has a Story” column to be exact.

I’m super excited, not only to see the article in print but also to have taken part in the entire experience.  I really enjoyed talking with Ardis Eckel and emailing pictures brought back memories of working at the newspaper.

So the next time you’re in a grocery or book store, head on over to the magazine rack and pick up a copy of MaryJanes Farm!
