Teagan got new shoes.

Nate did good this year and picked out an awesome tree.  Isabel sits like this entirely too often these days.

Mom (me) got her Christmas present early this year…all the better to whip up cookies, candies and breads!

All the kids (even the un- photogenic  Teagan) had fun with the Black Apple paper dolls.

We celebrated by going to Incredible Pizza.  Teagan gets the big picture ‘cause we so rarely see him.

We’re making Borax snowflakes….tonight!

Yippee, I got two more ornaments from the swap!

And in case you were wondering the trays that most Melissa and Doug toys come in make excellent drawer organizers!

O Christmas Tree!

This is my ornament, the one I sent out to the other nine people in my swapping group!  It’s made of a couple of old cardboard boxes, upholstery fringe, hot glue, and glitter glue.  I hope that they all enjoy it and I’m thinking about making some more to hand out to friends and start my own little ornament swap tradition.

This fringe was the inspiration.  When I found the giant spool of it at an antique store I knew immediately that I wanted to make little trees with it!

I began by cutting out triangles of cardboard from an old shoebox, warmed up the glue gun and began wrapping the triangle with the fringe.
